ISS is currently investigating some of the lingering effects of the Jabber issues resolved earlier in the week. While most have been resolved as individual issues, ISS has discovered an infrastructure issue preventing users from access Jabber without using the VPN. VPN users are unaffected, and if any user is having issues with Jabber we suggest first connecting to the VPN. We will post updates here as we work on this issue. (Ticket 442987)

As part of ongoing efforts to improve user experience and enhance IT security, the Identity Management team will be migrating a key system to the cloud from May 20 to 23. There is no impact expected for existing university users, though new student and employee accounts assigned during this time will be created after this maintenance window. ISS and OIT are working with multiple departments and vendors campuswide to implement this migration quickly and effectively.
